Due to problems that arose recently on the site, we were forced to restore the site from a backup copy, with the date set to 08/04/2023. Therefore, all compositions that were published after this date were, unfortunately, irretrievably lost. We couldn't restore them. We apologize to the authors whose works were published after the above date and ask them to re-publish their compositions. From now on, we will be backing up the site every day!
Although this will create a certain burden for administration, your published problems and studies will be guaranteed against losses! Once again, we apologize for the inconvenience caused!
Next, we introduce relative restrictions on submitting problems for participation in contests on the ChessStar website from January 1, 2024.
No more than three tasks of the same genre per month from one author (it doesn’t matter if the composition is taken together or not.)
This restriction will be spelled out in the Site Rules until 2024.
