More than fifty miniature problems have already been submitted to the MiniStar contest.
Of course, it is not the quantity that matters, but the quality of the compositions sent. There are interesting problems both in the three-move genre and in the multi-move genre, though there are very few of them.
Therefore, we ask the compilers to take a more responsible approach to compiling and send better miniatures.
We note right away that we will not consider weak problems, and, as you know, they are visible at a glance. Practically, all signs of problem quality are described in Site Rules in the
section VI. Qualitative characteristics of problems and studies (works). We recommend that you read this section carefully, as our judging will be based on these characteristics.
There are four days left before the end of the competition.
After the end of this competition of miniatures, we will hold the next competition in March, dedicated to the second competition MiniStar, where two miniatures and sketches will be accepted.
